I’m happy to announce that RootstockCollective is now live on mainnet, the first-ever DAO shaping the future of Rootstock through decentralized grants and project governance.

 

As of today, you can become a member of the DAO by staking RIF tokens which allows you to participate in governance and ensures you’re first in line to access upcoming features, perks and benefits.

The launch of the RootstockCollective dApp means that the DAO is officially accessible to the community. From day one, RIF holders will be able to stake their RIF into stRIF, connect their wallet to the dApp, and dive into the RootstockCollective world.

 

With stRIF in hand, builders can submit proposals, and community members can vote on proposals that influence the allocation of grants, community projects, and the overall growth of the Rootstock ecosystem.

 

The launch today marks the first important step of many and will feature the first-ever Grants program in a Bitcoin DAO… But this is the beginning.
