RootstockCollective v9.0 is live.
This release continues our focus on two core principles: transparency and community engagement, while improving the usability of the USD Vault Sandbox and introducing a new way for the community to interact with proposals.
As the Collective evolves, so does the experience for Builders, Backers, and Vault participants.
Let’s explore what’s new.
A more powerful USD Vault Sandbox
The USD Vault Sandbox continues to evolve, giving the community hands-on experience with ERC-4626 vault mechanics on mainnet in a safe, controlled way.
With v9.0:
Two-way swaps inside the dApp
Participants can now swap USDRIF ↔ USDT0 directly within the Collective dApp, powered by an embedded Uniswap swapper.
This removes friction and allows users to:
- Enter and exit positions more easily
- Test flows without leaving the platform
- Experience a more complete sandbox environment
Weighted strategy APY
We’ve introduced a Weighted strategy APY metric that provides a clear, at-a-glance view of overall yield across strategies.
This improves:
- Transparency of performance
- Comparability between strategies
- Understanding of how capital works
The Sandbox is becoming not just a test environment, but a learning environment.
Builder rewards history
Transparency isn’t just for Backers.
With v9.0, Builders now have a dedicated Rewards History view focused on Claim transactions.
Features include:
- Clear claim tracking
- CSV export functionality
- Mobile support
- Reduced reliance on block explorers
This makes accounting easier, reporting clearer, and participation more professional.
Introducing LIKEs on proposals
Governance isn’t only about voting; it’s about engagement.
With v9.0, anyone connecting a wallet can now LIKE a proposal, even if they’re not voting.
This enables:
- Lightweight engagement
- Community sentiment signalling
- Future experimentation around engagement mechanics
We’ll be running experiments to explore how LIKEs can support Builders, governance participation, and community coordination.
Under the hood, authentication is powered by Sign-In With Ethereum (SIWE), reinforcing our commitment to decentralisation while enabling a smooth user experience.
Ongoing reliability & performance improvements
As always, several under-the-hood updates have been included to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
The Collective continues to grow, and the infrastructure evolves alongside it.
